Digipak - Draft 2
In the 2nd draft of the digipak the two major changes made to it was the new font style added to the front cover, as well as the CD disc made and placed within the digipak. A separate post has been posted on my blog explaining the construction of the CD disc as well as the meaning behind of the design. However, in terms of the front cover this new font style has been chosen by my audience as well as my self to be included to the front cover. It is suggested by my audience that there is an improvement to the front cover due to the new style font style making it more attractive. However , this can still be improved as it's been suggested also that the colour white can make it look a bit dull for which this will be taken to consideration in the next draft of the digipak.

Digipak - Draft 1
Digipak draft 1 from Mustafa Ozz
The 1st draft of the digipak is still at the developing stage for which a variety of adjustments is needed to take place. At this stage my main goal was to pick the Images that would be used in my digipak as well as deciding whether or not these images would fit nicely in place with the digipak overall. The font style of the title will most definitely need to be adjusted as the font style and the size of it makes it look a bit 'tacky' as well as less attractive. The images were edited in Photoshop inorder for it to fit the size frame of 120x120mm in indesign which was the size it was required to be for the digipak (each individual image). A lot of work is needed to be done such as the back cover which requires numerous editing to conform to the conventions of a digipak e.g. song list and bar code. The resizing tool as well as sharpening tool was used specifically on photoshop to sharpen the images as some were blurry however, while transferring the images to indesign, the quality of the images were affected for which in the next draft this will not occur (considering a different computer will be used as the previous computer used to edit was internally damaged).

Audience Feedback - On what font style should be used in my album advert and digipak.
The image above is an example of one of the audience feedback I have received on what font style would most suit my album advert cover, as well as which one is the most appealing. This was the dominant response for which the 'Khalifah' font style (3rd one) seem to be the most favoured from my audience. From this feedback I have come to a conclusion to use this font style as the title for my album advert as well to represent the singer's name (also to be used in my digipak). This seems to be the most sensible decision considering the main objective of my products is to ensure they appeal and maximize the audience's satisfaction as well as to use the right conventions.

Typorgaphy (Different Font Styles - ideas)
After doing a variety of research, a selection of font styles have been picked by my self to include on my album/magazine advert and on my digipak. The font styles above have been picked to get multiple ideas on how it would look on my products. However, audience feedback will be carried out to limit down the font styles to one, for which the audience feedback would suggest would font ,style would suit my target audience and therefore be included. All of the font style above has been mainly picked due to the unique, unconventional design of the fonts which would enable me to produce an album advert and a digipak that is uncommon in the POP industry.

Artist Name
Artist Name: James Rey
The final artist name has been decided to be 'Jason Rey' for which it will be presented on the album cover and album advert. In previous posts such as the shooting script and the storyboard, you would have seen the name 'JP' referred to the artist. 'JP' is not the artist name but the character's name he plays within the music video for which it should not be confused with 'Jason Rey'. This name can be considered normal in the POP industry that suits the artist image for which appeals to the POP industry (Dyer's theory - Perry has been constructed to appeal to his music for which his name does so as well). Furthermore, in previous Mock Ups of my album advert and digipak you would have seen the name 'Perry' as the artist name. This name has been changed to 'Jason Rey' instead as I believe it sounds better and more attractive than 'Perry' which sound dull and basic.
